Battle For Titan

Releases

What has changed in Battle For Titan, in plain language.

v2026.9.15-1 Fix

Three small things put right

The base sheet opens again after you buy something at the Starport — a tap on the base bar had stopped answering once the purchase refreshed the page. The locked world-map teaser no longer sits above a large empty bordered space on wide screens. Admin dropdowns on Safari and iPhone now stand as tall as the fields beside them, so they are easy to tap and line up with their labels. Behind the scenes, six nightly browser checks that had drifted from the pages they watch were brought back in line.

v2026.8.23-3 Improvement

requested by Commander Destralak

The music player's shuffle and repeat controls now sit right where Spotify puts them — shuffle to the left of the previous-track button, repeat to the right of next.

v2026.8.23-2 Fix

requested by Commander Destralak

The floating music player used to vanish entirely the moment you paused it. Pausing now just pauses — the player stays right where it is, and only the topbar switch turns it off for good.

v2026.8.23-1 4 updates
Fix The game stops repeating itself

requested by Commander Destralak

Alerts no longer re-announce themselves every time you change page. An attack warning, a storm warning, a starport delivery or a new message now sounds once when it arrives and then stays quiet until something genuinely new happens — and a base that was already low on power when you walked in no longer sets off the alarm just because you moved around.

Your audio switches have also moved to your account. Music on or off, the announcer mute, shuffle, repeat, the house filter and "go quiet in the background" now follow you from one browser or device to the next, so the game you set up at your desk is the game that greets you on your phone. Volumes stay with the device you set them on — a desk and a bus want different numbers.

Feature A proper music player, and volume that finally works on iPhone

requested by Commander Destralak

The soundtrack has a real player now. Press the music button in your menu and a small pill appears in the corner of the screen — tap it open for the track name, a seek bar, previous and next, volume, shuffle, repeat and the full queue with the own-house or all-houses filter. It floats above the game and follows you from page to page, so changing what is playing no longer means leaving what you were doing. On a phone it opens compact and keeps the queue tucked away until you ask for it, and it sits clear of the base bar along the bottom rather than over it.

The bottom corner had got crowded, so it has been tidied. On a phone the back-to-top button now sits on the left and the player keeps the right, the two side by side just above the base bar instead of stacked in one column. On a bigger screen they stay together in the right-hand corner, clear of the navigation. Both stay put whatever the music is doing — and the back-to-top button is pressable again, having spent a short while sitting underneath the player.

Tracks now fade into one another instead of stopping dead, and a track set to repeat loops without the gap. If you prefer the clean cut, there is a switch for it on the Audio tab of your account settings.

One thing worth calling out for anyone playing on an iPhone or iPad: the volume sliders never actually worked there. Apple ignores the way the game was setting the volume, so the sliders moved and nothing changed. They work properly now.

The old transport strip in the menu and the player on the settings page are gone — everything they did lives in the floating player, and the Audio tab keeps your volumes, your switches and the music credits.

Improvement The three audio controls in your menu, drawn properly

requested by Commander Destralak

The small controls at the top of your session menu — announcer sound, soundtrack and attack warnings — are drawn now, rather than borrowed from whatever emoji set your device happens to ship. They look the same on every phone, tablet and computer instead of three different pictures, and on a machine without an emoji font they are no longer an empty box.

Each one also says what it is doing. The picture changes between on and off and the control lights up when it is on, so you can read the row at a glance, and hovering one names both the control and its state instead of just describing the press.

They are considerably easier to hit, too. The three stand side by side, and each now has a proper finger-sized target rather than the few pixels a bare glyph gave it.

Fix Borders and highlights get their proper colour back

requested by Commander Destralak

A handful of colours in the interface were named but never actually mixed, so anything reaching for one quietly borrowed the colour of the text beside it. The result was a scattering of too-bright edges: the tick boxes in the expedition filters drew as stark white squares, quoted text in your messages and in the Field Manual had a pale bar down its side instead of a muted one, and emphasised words came out plain white rather than the warm sand the rest of the game uses. Those colours are now properly defined, so those spots sit back into the panel the way they were always meant to. The admin screens, where most of them lived, get the same correction.

v2026.8.22-9 Fix Privacy page: an accurate count of the cookies we set

The privacy page said the site sets one cookie. It sets two — the one that keeps you signed in, and one that protects forms against cross-site abuse. Both are strictly necessary and neither has anything to do with analytics, so nothing about how we handle your data has changed; the page just now says so correctly.

v2026.8.22-8 Feature A privacy page, and a switch to opt out of analytics

Battle For Titan now has a privacy page, linked from the footer, that says plainly what we collect and what we don't. The short version: we run our own analytics rather than handing your visit to Google or anyone else, no cookies are set for it, no raw IP address is ever stored, and nothing is shared or sold. It exists so we can see which pages people actually find, and so we can tune balance and pacing against how the game is really played.

If you would rather not be part of that, you can say so: open your account settings, go to the Profile tab, and turn on "Exclude my activity from analytics." From that moment your account produces nothing at all — it isn't filtered out afterwards, it's never recorded in the first place.

Individual records are kept for 90 days and then deleted, leaving only anonymous daily totals.

v2026.8.22-6 Fix Fog of war holds, and the mobile floor reads straight

Two fixes this round, Commander.

  • Fog of war on the world map. Closed a hole that could reveal the exact coordinates of bases you had not discovered yet. Scouting is once again the only way to find a rival's ground.
  • Mobile production floor. A base with a very large Titanite stockpile could show its storage figures overlapping the build-space numbers beside them. Large totals now shorten to a compact form (like "238k") on narrow screens; wider screens still show the full number.

v2026.8.22-3 Fix

requested by Commander Nrgphoenix

The Research page no longer tells you a maxed-out line is "Fully researched" or "already queued" when there's actually a hidden level still waiting on an expedition find — it now says plainly that the next level isn't available yet.

v2026.8.22-2 Fix

requested by Commander Nrgphoenix

The New badge on Expeditions now stays lit per-mission until you actually open that expedition — just glancing at the list no longer clears badges on missions you haven't looked at yet.

v2026.8.22-1 Fix

requested by Commander Nrgphoenix

Commando Program (and a few of its siblings) was quietly available to buy from any house, even though the unit it unlocks — Commando — has always been exclusive to Hybris. That loophole is closed: house-locked unlocks now only show up for the house they belong to, matching every other house-exclusive line.

v2026.8.21-6 Feature Media — see Titan before you sign up

requested by Commander Nrgphoenix

The Media entry in the top menu finally leads somewhere. It opens on the origin-story film, and under it a wall of frames captured straight out of a live round — the moon in 3D, the research tree, operations, rankings, achievements and a commander's record. Click any frame and it opens full-size over the page; swipe or use the arrow keys to move along the row, and tap outside or press Escape to come back.

The homepage welcome panel has been rebuilt around the film too: the house emblems now sit under the introduction, and the film plays alongside it. Nothing starts downloading until you actually press play.

v2026.8.21-1 3 updates
Feature A proper front door

requested by Commander Nrgphoenix

The homepage has been rebuilt. There is now a navigation bar across the top of the site, a live status panel showing the current round and how many Commanders are online, and a News section where updates, dev blogs and event announcements get posted — with the latest few always waiting on the front page. On a phone the menu tucks behind a Menu button and slides open. Log in exactly as you always have; nothing about your account or your bases has changed.

Feature The Game Guide is open

requested by Commander Nrgphoenix

The Game Guide entry in the top menu now leads somewhere: the Field Manual. Eight chapters covering how building, the economy, combat, missions, alliances, recon and expeditions actually work, plus a full reference of every structure, unit, research line and upgrade with its real costs and times. It no longer needs an account either — anyone can read the whole thing before deciding to sign up, and it stays one click away from the front page once you have.

Fix Honest rarity on the achievements page

requested by Commander Nrgphoenix

The "% of commanders have earned this" figure on the achievements page was counting our own behind-the-scenes accounts as Commanders, which quietly made every achievement look rarer than it is. Those accounts are now left out of the sum on both sides, so the percentage you read is measured against real Commanders only.

v2026.8.20-6 2 updates
Improvement Server housekeeping

A short maintenance window today moved our servers fully over to their new Battle For Titan home. Nothing changes in the game itself — same fronts, same fleets — just a tidier engine room behind them.

Improvement Branded error pages

requested by Commander Destralak

When something goes wrong — a page that does not exist, a session that timed out, a fault on our side — you now get a proper Battle For Titan page instead of a bare server message. Each one says plainly what happened, stamps the moment it was logged so you can quote it if you report it, and always offers a way back to command. The screen you see while an update is deploying now matches them.

v2026.8.20-5 Improvement Server housekeeping

A short maintenance window today moved our servers fully over to their new Battle For Titan home. Nothing changes in the game itself — same fronts, same fleets — just a tidier engine room behind them.

v2026.8.20-4 Improvement The Battle For Titan rebrand is complete

The name change finishes today: every page, menu, email and app icon now says Battle For Titan. Your saved preferences — music, map view, and the rest — carry over automatically, and nothing is needed on your side. If you added the game to your phone's home screen, the icon label now reads BFT.

v2026.8.20-3 Improvement A new home — battlefortitan.com

Dun3 is becoming Battle For Titan! The game now lives at battlefortitan.com — old dun3.com links and bookmarks bring you here automatically. The move signs everyone out once, so just log back in with your usual credentials. If you use push notifications, re-enable them once from your settings — the switch to the new address resets them.

v2026.8.20-2 Improvement The Build page's order strip follows the tab you are on

requested by Commander Destralak

Open a build category and the order strip above it now shows only the production lines that category actually uses — the Construction Yard while you are on Buildings or Defense, the Barracks on Infantry, your vehicle factories on Vehicles. Each line carries its facility's name and artwork alongside whatever comes out of it next, so a glance tells you which factory is busy and how long you have. Research and upgrades get a line of their own on the Upgrades tab. Anything not on show still rolls into the counter underneath, which remains the door to the full Production floor.
